Sometimes we find ourselves in positions we would’ve never guessed we’d end up in. That’s how today’s guest found himself in the boardroom. Although not completely planned, his journey to the boardroom is filled with lessons and hints for us as aspiring directors on how to land that first board seat.
Today, Jeb Banner joins the show to help us learn more about the process of getting to the boardroom. Jeb is the owner of a couple successful businesses including SmallBox, an organizational consulting firm helping businesses solve problems while learning new skill sets. After leaving SmallBox in 2018, Jeb joined Boardable, a board management software company, as its full time CEO.
In today’s episode, Jeb provides expertise about preparedness for different board roles. He also largely discusses the difference between different boards and the management style required for different settings. We discuss all of these topics and more on this episode of Boardroom Bound.
